A Crystal Suspended in the South Window....
makes big, random and brilliant rainbows on the bedroom walls in winter when the sun is low. But you knew that.

Randomness...that's what I'm like just now...
Shuffling thru the year's photo files: an odd, but nevertheless tasty, tomato from the 2012 harvest. Long enjoyed and digested. Probably in ended up in a delicious BLT sometime last summer. Way to go, Hubsy!

Let's Cheer Up around here....
"Bad News for Australia....little by little we are taking back the Sun!"---Signed, Your Friend the Northern Hemisphere. (aka, when I take the "early train" the sun is rising; when I take my usual train in the evening from work, it's light all the way home.)

collecting Blessings...
Blessings don't always feel like blessings...example: at my age, I might be considering retiring, but my working life career took more active turn. It appears I am contributing to the growth of a new enterprise, run by much younger people. And it's fun. A bittersweet freedom from elder-caregiving has given me an opportunity to "elder-care" myself with regular exercise! Odd, if a person loses their parents too early in life, it's one sad circumstance. If you are near old-age yourself, then there is a long long road to look back at. "He was always there" for so many years. So, yes; it's a monochrome feel, tho luminous.

The Aftermath....
Starting up again; still a little weak, aka not feeling too creative. Yesterday, on Sunday, was a very low energy day. Today I made official death notifications to Social Security, etc.; various small errands. Not a lot left over for Fabulous Fun Photo-Blogging! But this might help: I have replaced elder-caregiving with a definite period of exercise each day for myself. Meanwhile, this bunch of lilies, from a couple of years ago feels warm and glowy.
