Mother's Birthday was October 23...

So I'm early with this photo to observe what would be her 94th. It was taken in 1959 at the Munich Oktoberfest.

Long Ago and Far Away....

...while reviewing some old slides my parents had, we found this one, taken at the Munich Octoberfest in the fall of 1959. That's my mother--probably just prior to her 40th birthday. Fashionable for the late 1950's and also for the retro-tastes of today. In those days, she made all her own clothes and did a great job of it! She was pretty, as the man on the left seems to notice.
