Butterflies and Dill Plants...
Hubsy uses fresh dill for pickling cucumbers, naturally. The plant re-seeds itself nicely; and the butterflies like it. He noticed a full-grown butterfly laying eggs on the dill earlier in the summer. A week or so later, the plant was full of tiny caterpillers; they fed voraciously on the dill plant (that's ok, we have more). Some grew quite large, though I'm afraid the robins got many of them.
