A small baby, carried in the arms of an elderly Russian lady; she casually jay-walked across a couple of lanes of busy traffic on Devon Ave. last Sunday. She stopped to greet us as we smiled at the baby, then scuttled off across a parking lot, disappearing in an adjoining alley; the baby watched me and my camera till we were out of sight.
