More of the Flooded Creek Bed....

...after last Friday night's 5-inch deluge.

  1. Looks like a pretty area! I am not sure what is worse a flood or having a drought?

  2. It is a "small creek" that may actually be the North Branch of the Chicago River--beyond the water is a huge water retention area; the river winds south from there. It is near Northbrook, Il. My back is to the shopping center with the Target, etc.

  3. That is some severe flooding! We had a flashflood here last summer, that did a lot of damage. Backed up into a lot of basements, and some people are SO discouraged about that. Third time in 13 years...

  5. Beautiful scene but I hope the water didn't get to you.

I Swore I would Not View Yellowstone Through the Lense of my Camera..

However, I did take a few evocative, misty photos of some bison and early September snow at the Park.
