A Close-Up of the Limestone in the Previous FencePost..
...if you look closely at the limestone fencepost, you can easily see the fossilized shells from the former sea-bottom that formed the plentiful limestone deposits. The pioneers built houses, outbuildings and even barns out of limestone; lots of the buildings still remain.
